This site is an easy-to-search and use recipe file that invites you to search for dishes by name or key ingredients, or browse by category. We also invite you to submit your favorite recipes. The idea is that team work makes a better meal, and there’s no better means for collaborating than using the power of the Internet.

We hope that all types of cooks will find this site useful – that everyone from amateur cooks who just like to shake up the family dinner routine will find this as helpful as an experienced caterer. We’ve arranged recipes by main ingredient, such as meat or vegetables, but also by type, such as desserts, and also included categories for various ethnic recipes. We’d love to see recipes contributed from around the world. Feel free to include tips that may help another cook.

In my day job, I work at a web site development and marketing firm called Blackstone Media. But my passion outside of work is cooking. My idea was to put together a web site that would encourage recipe-sharing and also use some of our design prowess.

I’ve started with adding some of my own recipes, and we’ve already had some contributions. This is terrific, and exactly how I want the site to work. I’m having fun trying out submitted recipes and enjoying the feedback I’ve gotten. I hope you will, too.
